Ingredients:
- 420g canned baked beans (preferably use British version)
- ½ red onion, finely diced
- ½ avocado, sliced
- shaved parmesan, for serving
- black pepper, for seasoning
- Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 4 slices bread, toasted
Method:
- In a pan, lightly fry the red onion and then mix through the baked beans and heat to the desired temperature.
- Meanwhile, toast bread and then butter placing on plates ready for plating up.
- Spoon heated baked bean mix over your toast and place avocado in a nice fan shape on top.
- Top with parmesan cheese and season with black pepper if desired.
- As an extra boost, you can also drip a few drops of Worcestershire sauce around the plate or bowl.
