Fruit Loaf

Personal Note – This is my mother-in-law’s recipe, it is very easy and so yummy. Pat is very creative and is not wasteful, so is always making up new recipes (from the old school).

Ingredients:
  • 1kg mixed fruit
  • 600ml chocolate milk
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
Method:
  1. Soak mixed fruit in chocolate milk overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
  3. Sift flour into mixture and mix well.
  4. Place mixture into a lined or greased round cake tin and bake for 1 hour.
  5. Remove from oven and wait until cool to remove onto a wire rack.
